Understanding the notice types
- EOI (Expression of Interest): a first-round shortlist. Send your profile, experience and team; full proposals come later.
- RFP (Request for Proposals): full technical and financial proposal, usually scored on quality and cost.
- RFQ (Request for Quotation): price-led purchase of clearly specified goods or services.
- ITB (Invitation to Bid): formal sealed bid, usually lowest compliant price wins.
- Call for Proposals: grants or sub-grants for NGOs and CBOs to deliver a programme.
