GENERALIST FIELD OFFICER, HUDDUR Fixed-Term Contract

The ICRC is recruiting a Generalist Field Officer for Huddur, Somalia. The position represents the ICRC in the field, strengthens acceptance and understanding among communities and stakeholders, identifies humanitarian concerns, supports implementation of ICRC activities, contributes to security analysis and monitors developments in the operational context. The role requires regular field engagement and extensive travel within Somalia.

Candidate eligibility: This is a national/resident position based in Huddur. The published vacancy requires a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies or a related field, at least five years of progressive relevant experience, and strong English and Somali.
